4/21/20. This photo was taken in the Quogue town toy store, Double Rainbow. This little store is where I would come every summer to get an ice cream cone with my friends. Though it was already closed for the season, it is sad to see it locked up with View fullsize

Nature seems to be thriving while humans are in lockdown. This is the clearest I have ever seen this bit of marsh. No garbage, no cloudy mud. Just clear water, seaweed and some dry reeds. View fullsize

5/16/20. There have been few activities that my family can do. While staying in isolation, we can go to the beach.  Especially in the winter, few people are coming to these beaches. My mother, father, sister and I are often to only ones walking along View fullsize

6/2/20. In the city, storefronts have been victim to violent protests and riots. The Black Lives Matter movement has gained traction in major cities. Just a couple blocks away from my apartment, looters created chaos in a Nike store and smashed the w View fullsize

Just a couple blocks away from my apartment, looters created chaos in a Nike store and smashed the window of this J. Crew. The dynamic of the city has shifted from anxiety and worry to anger.

10/15/20. I have been busy settling into a online college routine, but I had enough spare time to go to the New York Botanical Garden. It was lovely to see the flowers--many were still in blossom, though it is October. Next time, I want to go with my View fullsize
